Terms of Service

This page explains terms of service for visitors of Dave's Hot Chicken Masterclass. It is not marketing copy. Everything below describes how the site works, what you agree to when you use it, and how to reach us with a question about your account, an order, or a purchase.

Accepting these terms

Who may use this site, and what agreement you enter

By opening daveshotchickens.click, browsing the course pages, or buying access to the flagship cooking course, you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, the simplest step is to stop using the site — nothing is charged for looking around.

The site is operated by Dave's Hot Chicken Masterclass. You may use it if you can form a binding contract where you live and you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are enrolling on behalf of a school, a restaurant, or a team, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation, and that organisation is bound alongside you.

You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has used your account, tell us through the contact page and change your password. We may suspend access while we look into it.

Using the website

What you may and may not do here

These rules keep the site usable for everyone who is learning the recipes.

  • Browse course pages, watch lessons, and cook from the recipes for your own household. Allowed
  • Republish lessons, recipe text, or video to another site, app, or paid class. Not allowed
  • Share a single finished dish photo and mention where you learned it. Allowed
  • Copy the sauces, dredge ratios, or heat ladder into your own competing course. Not allowed
  • Ask a question about a lesson or report a broken video through the contact page. Allowed
  • Probe, scrape, overload, or attempt to break the site or another member's account. Not allowed

Course content and access

What you receive, and how long it stays open

The flagship course teaches Nashville hot chicken and the street-food plates built around it: juicy tenders, sliders, and wings, cooked through the full heat ladder from mild to Reaper, with the sauces that sit behind each level. Lessons are grouped as modules, and every module carries the same structure — a walkthrough of the technique, the ratios, and the finish.

Buying the course gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the lessons and cook from the recipes for as long as the course remains available on the site. You may not sell, sublicense, or share your login. Downloadable notes and printable recipe sheets, where they are offered, are for your own kitchen use.

Technique

Dredge, brine, and the crisp shell

Why the flour coat matters, how the buttermilk stage behaves, and the oil temperature that keeps a tender juicy.

Sauces

The heat ladder, mild to Reaper

How the same base builds five levels, plus the cooling sides that keep a Reaper plate edible.

What you keep

Your recipes, notes, and progress stay with your account. Access is not a subscription — there is no monthly charge once the course is bought.

Purchases, prices, and refunds

Buying the course, and how refunds work

Prices are shown in US dollars on the enroll page and are the amount you pay at checkout. If a price changes, the new price applies to future purchases only — it does not change a purchase you already completed.

If the course is not what you expected, write to us through the contact page within fourteen days of purchase and ask for a refund. Refunds are reviewed individually: we look at whether the lessons were accessed, how far through the course you got, and what went wrong. Once a refund is approved, we reverse the charge and close access to the course for that account.

At a glance

  • Currency and price shown at checkout US dollars
  • Recurring charge after purchase None
  • Window to request a refund 14 days
  • How to reach billing support Contact page
  • Payment details we store None on site

Card details are handled by the payment provider that processes your checkout. We see the result of the charge and the email you used to enroll, not your full card number.

Cooking, heat levels, and safety

Fried food and chili are your responsibility to handle carefully

The course teaches a method. It does not cook for you. Deep frying involves hot oil, and every heat level above mild involves capsaicin. When you follow a lesson, you accept the risks of working with hot oil and strong chili in your own kitchen, and you agree to keep children, pets, and anyone with a chili sensitivity clear of the pan.

Check the ingredients in each recipe against your own allergies before you cook, and use a thermometer for oil rather than judging by sight. If a dish is meant to be eaten by someone with a medical condition, a food allergy, or a low tolerance for heat, use your judgement about whether they should eat it at all. Nothing on this site is medical or dietary advice, and no recipe replaces the guidance of a qualified professional.

Everyday safety habits

  • Keep a lid and a box of baking soda within reach of the fryer, and never move a pan of hot oil across a room.
  • Ventilate the kitchen, wear long sleeves, and keep a bowl of cold water off the counter where the dredge is mixed.
  • Start at mild if you are cooking for a table with mixed heat tolerance, and keep the Reaper sauce in its own bowl.

Disclaimers and liability

How the site is provided, and what we are not promising

The site and the course are provided as they are. We work to keep lessons online and pages accurate, but we do not promise that the site will be free of interruptions, that every video will play on every device, or that a recipe will come out exactly as shown in your kitchen. Cooking results depend on your ingredients, your oil, and your equipment, not only on the method.

To the extent the law allows, Dave's Hot Chicken Masterclass is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using the site or cooking from a recipe — including spoiled ingredients, damaged cookware, or a dish that did not turn out the way you hoped. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, and nothing here excludes liability for fraud, injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the page stays in force. Our failure to enforce a term on one occasion does not mean we have given it up.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page when the course, the site, or the law around it changes. When we do, the date at the top of this page moves, and material changes are announced on the site before they take effect. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you. If you disagree with a change, stop using the site and, where a purchase is involved, contact us about your account.
